Additional Rider Policy
Customers must not lend, transfer, or allow another person to operate the rented vehicle without informing MK Rides and obtaining prior approval.
Any additional rider must provide the required original documents for verification before operating the vehicle. MK Rides reserves the right to refuse an additional rider who does not satisfy its eligibility and documentation requirements.
Helmet Damage Policy
Helmets are provided by MK Rides free of charge for both the rider and the pillion. Other safety gear such as gloves, knee guards and riding jackets is available at separate charges.
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of any helmet provided with the rented vehicle. In the event of damage beyond normal wear and tear, applicable repair or replacement charges may be levied in accordance with the disclosed rental terms.
Vehicle Damage and Accident Policy
If a rented vehicle is damaged due to an accident, misuse, negligence, or a breach of the rental terms, the customer may be held liable for the reasonable and applicable repair costs, subject to the rental agreement, insurance coverage, and applicable law.
Where the vehicle becomes unavailable for rental due to such damage, any additional compensation or loss-of-use charges must be determined in accordance with the agreed rental terms and applicable law and communicated to the customer.
Customers must promptly inform MK Rides of any accident or damage and cooperate with the necessary assessment and documentation process.
Vehicle Theft Policy
In the event of theft or loss of a rented vehicle, the customer must immediately notify MK Rides and report the incident to the appropriate authorities.
The customer's financial responsibility, if any, will be determined in accordance with the rental agreement, applicable insurance coverage, the circumstances of the incident, and applicable law. Any compensation for vehicle loss must be assessed on a lawful and documented basis.
Mechanical Failure and Repairs
If the rented vehicle develops an engine fault or another mechanical problem during the rental period, the customer must immediately contact MK Rides or the designated field executive.
Customers must not undertake or authorise repairs without prior approval from MK Rides, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety or required by law.
Where a vehicle must be replaced due to a verified mechanical fault, MK Rides will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement vehicle, subject to availability and the applicable rental terms.
Required Documents and Verification
The following original documents must be presented for verification by every authorised rider:
A valid driving licence appropriate for the rented vehicle.
Any one of these identity documents: Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, Passport or PAN card.
Document verification must be completed before the rental begins. A driving licence is mandatory for the rider only; a pillion (passenger) does not need to hold a driving licence. The rider’s driving licence is kept by MK Rides during the rental and is handed back to the rider when the vehicle is returned. MK Rides may decline to release a vehicle if the required documents are missing, invalid, or cannot be satisfactorily verified.
If a booking cannot proceed because the customer fails to provide the required documents, cancellation and refund eligibility will be determined by the disclosed cancellation policy and applicable law.

- Customers will be informed of cancellations as soon as reasonably practicable.

If a customer cancels a booking within 24 hours before the scheduled trip start time, the full amount paid will be charged as a cancellation fee, and no refund will be issued, subject to applicable law and any mandatory refund rights.
If a customer cancels a booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled trip start time, 20% of the amount paid will be deducted as a cancellation fee, and the remaining 80% will be refunded.
